Question about Standby and Windows Updates (1 Viewer)

The default setting for Windows Updates is "Download and install every day at 3:00 AM". Tonight I noticed, that my HTPC, which I set into Standby via Mediaportal, woke up at 3:00 AM and downloaded a Windows Update (it didn't install it though, apparently). Then it went into Standby again. I was a bit puzzled by that, I didn't know Windows would do that. I am now worried, whether this has any negative effect on the power scheduling. The Windows Event log says "System is going into Standby. Reason: the System is inactive.", Source: Kernel-Power. At first I thought Windows set itself into standby again, but the tv.log says:

So, was it in fact the PowerScheduler, that set the system into Standby again? Also, why does the log say "OnPowerEvent: PowerStatus: ResumeAutomatic"? I am so confused

Power Scheduler should be able to handle this. If you find issues, try the powerscheduler++ plugin (replaces the current one), which is based around the fact that the OS should send the PC into standby and MP should stop it if needed (e.g. it can set the PC to the "away" mode if you press the power off button while a recording is running).
