Question about the sort function in 0.7.0! (1 Viewer)

I have a little question about the new sorting option in 0.7.0

Standard is Title sorting Ascending.

But sometimes i wan't to sort it by year, to watch a new movie... Therefore i wan't it to be sorted Descenting and not Ascenting! I cannot find anywhere in the GUI i can do that!??

I'm aware that i manually in the Mediaportal config can set it to standard sort it for year Descending. But i don't wan't to go into the config everytime i would like it to be sorted correctly after "Year"...

So it should be able to remember that when i select sort by "Year" in the GUI, then it should be sorted Descenting and not ascenting! Isn't that possible!??

Furthermore i have a little question about the menu inside Moving Pictures in the GUI... As far as i can see the only option to call the menu is to press F9!? But why can't you make it like MyFilms, Music Player, TV plugin etc etc.. All other plugins, so you can view the left menu inside the GUI... And make your changes there!?? Sorting changes, Viewing changes... And in the future Genre search changes...

To change the sort direction click sort by year again. Click any sort field once and it sorts ascending, click it again and it reverses the sort order.

So i have to click "Sort by year" twice every time in the GUI to get it sorted descending!?

There is no option to get it remembered so when i click "sort by year" then it's automatically sorted descending!?

Because i would guess that most people want there newest movies to be shown first, when sorting by year...

would it be possible to make it sort by date added to disk insted of added to DB ?

so it works even when i start out a new DB / install

Please try to be more constructive with your suggestions. I have a created an issue on the tracker with your suggestion though. If you have further ideas beyond what I mentioned there, you should post them on the Issue Thread.
