[QUOTE="graham.reeds, post: 397649, member: 57894"] I have a few questions I hope you can help me with: 1) Where my TV is located there isn't a TV aerial and no way of installing one either, and I am not about to turn my living room around so everything is by the aerial socket (which is in a really bad place). So I watch all my television through a Virgin Media digital box. This is just standard def stuff, but I am planning on moving to hidef at some point. What tv card would be best for me to record TV? 2) I bought an OEM MCE remote. With the OEM MCE remote I got a lead that has a small jackplug at one end and a led/diode at the other. I guess this is for changing channels, but how do I configure it to do so? 3) The remote receiver is next to the PC. Has anyone successfully modded it so I can go in the 3.5" slot? 4) Converting AVI to DVD causing my PC to overheat with the standard stock cooler. I am planning on getting a ThermalRight Ultra-120 eXtreme (no fan). Will this stop the overheating? 5) The case I am using for the PC is an old tower case laid on it's side. I would like a decent HTPC case, but I don't want a) a remote (i have the mce) or b) the big volume button on the front. Needs to support 4 hdd drives. Also I would prefer if the optical drive is on the left or center. Needs to support a standard ATX mobo too. Also needs to house a decent silent hsf. I have a budget of £150. Thanks, Graham Reeds.
