Quick way to Preview XML Skin Pages (1 Viewer)

Hello all...Is there a quick way to preview the XML pages of the skin?
I know about the "refresh" plugin, and it works great. However, I'd like to know if there is a way to easily veiw the page without having to open MP. Would attaching some sort of generic schema or stylesheet work?

Also, I know about the now outdated skin editor. Any ideas on getting this up to date?

One more thing...Can someone provide a real skin guide? The one under documents seems to be incomplete. What do the developers use? Can anyone help?

If a user wants to this would be appreciated but with xaml upcoming no dev will put his energy in something like this.

Well, I'm only using the wiki for documentation, myrefresh for layout and notepad++ for skinning
