Random director commentary on HD channels (1 Viewer)

I have been watching some channels on UK Freesat 28.2 and have noticed sometimes im getting the following:

1) Directors commentary. If i open TV Server and select a different HD channel stream sometimes this clears the commentary, but certain channels it doesnt...

...which leads me onto my next question...

2) I also have my PC HD channelks being decoded through an AV Amp. Usually HD channels decode accordingly, ie dolby digital 2/0 or Dolby Digital DTS for movies...etc however this doesnt seem to be working. If I change to a different stream for the same channel it usually fixes the problem, but either another stream isnt available (because the channels have been mapped ???) or the stream is just coming through as LCPM (think thats right).

I know codecs are a big issue, but ive had mediaportal running standard LAV codecs and have had decoding of HD channels with no issues.

Any help would be appreciated.

1. press f9 or info bitton on remote to change audio language. set preferred audio settings in mp config under the tv section.

2. playback guide link in my sig. for videos not live tv.

If these audio streams are AC3 (Dolby Digital) you could try replacing the TsReader.ax file with the one here - https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...paired-incorrectly.120281/page-2#post-1017701

There is a bug with AC3 audio stream language handling in the current version (in some situations) which *might* not be helping things along.....note this is quite an old bug, so if this issue has only recently started it probably isn't the problem.

That was great advice. Set my preferred language to English, set preferred audio setting...job done
