TV-Server Version: svn from 20.1.2008 MediaPortal Version: svn from 20.1.2008 MediaPortal Skin: bluetwo Windows Version: vista + all updates CPU Type: amd be2350 Memory: 2GB 667 ddr2 Motherboard: asus m2a-vm Motherboard Chipset: ati 690g Video Card: 8500gt Video Card Driver: 269.25 1. TV Card: terratec cinergy Terratec Cinergy DT USB XS Diversity I used to run a MP1 + svn from way before christmas without troubles. Then i had a sudden attack of stupidity to fix something that wasnt broken, and as a result i broke it. MP can run fine for hours, even days, but usually it freezes randomly in the menus. This just happened: - i was using my tv series to watch series - i went to sleep - i turned the tv on the next morning, mp had froze (graphics are visible, pressing stop, play etc makes sounds, but directional buttons dont make sounds or respond) - i have to log off/reboot at this point, MP isnt killable through task manager - if i press something like windows key, MP goes completely black and the .net crash popup shows itself, but pressing "close this program" does nothing - note, there is nothing on the freeze in the logs, it just shows the last tv ep etc in the logs This happened also a minute ago: - i was watching a movie (mkv h264 dts) - when the credits started rolling i pressed stop - mp went back to menu but froze instantly, the rest are the same as above ANY help welcome, this is extremely annoying, last weekend after making a completely fresh install i had 27 freezes in 48 hours, it kind of kills the usability. Any custom builds for more debug in the logs or anything, i really want to get this fixed. EDIT: after typing this i remembered the ati 690g thread, ill go read through that for starters :) (weird thing is this didnt happen before a certain svn revision)
