I'm not sure if this already exists but I've not seen it before. I was thinking of some way to see how many other mediaportal users are currently watching a program. Well the solution is very simple you need a web server, mediaportal automatically connects to it, sends viewing information to it and receives tv program statistics. In this way mediaportal could have an inbuilt and instant counter for viewing figures. Of course on the web server also user statistics could be saved, users with similar tv preferences could be identified and you could have all the funny stuff like 'other users watching this program also watched ...' as for books at amazon. The problem is that all this only makes sense if there is a certain number of users. So, would anyone like to have this feature?
