Going to TVServer RC2 results in " NO SIGNAL " when scanning for DVB-T Channels.
Going back to RC1 and problem goes away.

    Anyone else have this ??

I am running WHS ( i know it's not supported ) as a dedicated TVServer rig with all latest updates.

    cheers

    Working here with Vista\XP

Did you apply the new DVBfix found here https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...ner-issue-channel-scan-crash-windows-xp-6344/

    Hi Ray.

Yes is did apply the patch but there was an error : " Loadlibrary("D:\DVBfix\psisrndr.ax")failed - The specified module could not be found "
    Seems as tho i need WMP11 installed ( as per this thread : https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/1-0-rc2-svn-builds-280/1-0-rc2-install-problems-42437/ ) but i can't because i am running WHS ( server2003 ).

    cheers

I think i-loop has erred on the side of "its the latest" and must fix something, why M$ in there wisdom has tied it with WMP11, God only knows.

But then you know the teams thoughts on Windows Server editions being supported, due to there native lack of multimedia handling :(

    ok.. we have success..
I now have RC2 running on WHS. In order to do so it seems that you need to install the latest DVBFIX which requires Media Player 11. Installing MP11 on WHS is somewhat tricky but not impossible.

    Hey bigrider,

I got a Server 2003 R2 SP2 over here up and running with no fixes but WMP11. I did install it not exactly like described in the blog link but:

    Preparation
    1. Download WMP11 here
    2. Extract the "wmfdist11.exe" and "wmp11.exe" from the downloaded file with WinRAR or 7zip (or equivalent)
    3. Extract both extracted files again into a different folder each

    Installation
    1. run hcp://system/compatctr/compatmode.htm
    2. select "search manually"
    3. run "wmfdist11(extracted folder)\update\update.exe
    4. select "Windows XP compatibility"

    5. Afterwards follow the same installation steps for the "wmp11" package (which you also extracted before)
