In my setup I seem to have/had the problem that after a normal installation, tvserver.exe isnt started automatically. So after each reboot, its just not there anymore. So when I start mediaportal I have to wait 1 minute or so before it starts fully and skips the tvservice thingy... I had to manually set tvservice to start automatically in administrative tools. After doing so, I have never experienced this problem anymore during the startup of mediaportal. It could be that after hybernation the TVService isnt loaded anymore. This is why I think the issue above could be causing you problems. Maybe you can check to make sure it isnt casued by something silly like this. I dont know if this could even explain your problem, but I think it cant hurt to try/check. To manually enable TvService.exe in XP go to: -Start -Configuration panel -Administrative Tools -Component Services -Services (Local) > in the list, double click: TVService (general tab) Startup Type: set to Automatic (Recovery tab) : First Faliure: Restart the service (this might not even be needed.) For Vista I have no clue how to do this. It would probably not be extremely different. Hope this helps..
