I had a similar issue, kind of, dealing wigh changing channels. What tuners are you using...up to date drivers and firmware? Anyway, my issues was when I wanted to swicth channel, it would "hang", change the audio to the new station but show a still picture of the old station, like it could not start the video timeshift of the new channel. I could Rewind then Forward and I would work some of the time, but usually had to restart MP. I decided to just wait, and eventually 60s to 180s it would switch the video. Turns out, when I upgraded to Win7, I decided to upgrade firmware and drivers of my tuners (Hauppauge 2250 and HDHR). I decided to use a beta firmware on the HDHR, I havent been burned before, but this time the beta firmware backfired. I placed the latest official release of hte firmware and it cleared up some of the issues. Then I had to switch my network provider from General to ATSC (ATSC since I have OTA), and it cleared up all my issues permanently. Maybe this will get you to debug your system a little bit, idk. Oh, an post logs, it helps the people that know what they are doing...which is not me. Good Luck.
