FFDShow is currently blacklisted as MPEG2-decoder for TV within Mediaportal. FFDShow is still able to connect to Mediaportal because it changes it's connection name while trying to reconnect (can be seen within Graphedit).
My request is to enable FFDShow-support again as it works good for me and it does eliminate the flicker-problem. You also can force Bob deinterlacing and NV12-output within FFDShow so you'll get free hardware deinterlacing on every codec that can be used (this means all DIVX, XVID, H264, WMV, VC-1 files can be played with doubled framerate with no added CPU usage).
Because of the blacklisting there is a channel switching problem between FFDShow (MPEG2) and the Cyberlink H264-codec (no picture, only sound).
Tourettes once send me a patched TSReader.ax that does not contain the blacklisting. This worked good - no more freezes.
So I would be glad if you could disabling the blacklisting of FFDShow - or just make a button within the configuration (Enable/Disable).
