Synopsis::

Watching recording as recording was taking place (about 35min timeshift). When the program finished and recording ended the PC rebooted.

MS recognised this "serious error" on restarting and reported a Windows Stop error from which it could not recover caused by an unknown device driver.

Mediaportal reported the recording was complete (schedule) but did not list it as recorded program.

So I missed the end of that program! :x

Hey, maybe I haven't missed that program!

I haven't repeated the crash but I am getting a lot of recordings failing - they record but never appear in "Recorded TV". But if I go into the recording folder, they are all there!

How do I get these "dvr-ms" files into "Recorded TV"?

Why do some recordings fail in this way?

Cheers!
