So i started with an old Athlon xp 1.3ghz with 1gig of cheap ram. It ran fine for about 6-8 months but now im getting tired of it being slow. So ive started building my new HTPC but need some help picking out a couple parts.

Proc: Core 2 Duo E6700
Mobo: Intel DG33TL
Ram: 2GB Mushkin DDR2 800
Hard Drive: 3 - 500GB WD SATA Green Power
PSU: Antec True Power 650w
Case: nMediaPC HTPC 500BA
Video Card: ?

I cant decide between a Nvidia 7300 or a 8400. The 8400 has the new PureVideo HD built into the chipset. Will I notice a difference between the two cards since the 8400 has PureVideoHD??

Tuner Card: ?

I was using a Hauppauge PVR-500 Dual tuner in my old machine, I can still use it in my new one but I have a few questions. Am I going to notice any difference between a PCI and a PCIe tuner card? And is there any tuner card I should be looking at to replace this one?

Sound Card?

My mobo has integrated Intel 7.1 audio. Do I want to buy a standalone sound card? If so, which one?
