Hi everybody...

I´m currently rebuilding my Server, becouse I want a more powerful energy efficient and super quiet computer...:D

In the past I was working with my server PC with Windows Home Server and Hauppauge HVR-1300 on Media portal TVServer 1 without any problems...

Now, Im going to use also the HVR-1300, but I´m going to add a Nova T-500 dual tunner to use 3 tunners...

I´m sure it will work fine, but there are something that I don´t know...

When you use 2 different cards, do you have to scan all the channels on both cards? or is possible to scan it on 1 tv card, and then to use on the other cards...?

It´s possible to watch 2 live channels at the same time?

Thank you a lot!:D

Hola Gixxer, siempre es más fácil hablar en Español ehh :p

I had bougt the final RTM of Windows Home Server in Spanish, but is arriving, not in my hands today. The last Server I´ve built with the 120 days evaluation kit, but I had a power loss, and the Motherboard battery was faulty so the time set change, and the Evaluation kit expired...So I decided to buy a new computer and to get The final RTM version...

The think is that If you scan once the channels they had all the info for all the tuners, so I don´t know...

Thank you a lot for your help!

I am using Windows Home Server and it works well.. The only issue i was having was with a file called " USBEHCI.SYS " which is located in c:\windows\system32\drivers. It caused system crashes with my Nova-T 500 cards.
The fix is to replace it with an earlier version from Windows XP.
If you need the file let me know.

    cheers.

    so windows home server 2008?

Is there ( or will there be ) such a thing ???

    Now It´s finished!!!

I get the Nova t-500 working with the indications of vvulture, so now I can record 3 channels or more (if they are the same mux) without problems!

Thank you a lot for your help!
