But a nice explanation in the (Mars) Warrior way!!
(Well, rather a language war declaration, but I agree with most parts of the article.....).
There are a few sections where the C++ performance and machine-nearness is needed, HTPC software doesn't fall into that category IMHO...
But the nice(?) thing is that you can endlessly write threads like this and find religious fanatics that defend "their" favourite languages.
You can write good or bad code in almost any language...
MP is written in C#, that's a fact and a good dev can definitely write great stuff for MP!
SO... where's the problem?? 8)
