Record by time and not by EPG (1 Viewer)

Is there any way to create a daily recording by time (and not by EPG)?

This is what I tried so far:

I went to "scheduled recordings" and tried to find the option "new" somewhere (someone mentioned this on this forum), but I didn't find the option. (And I'm not sure whether I can schedule a daily recording there).

I tried to find something about "PVR scheduler". This seems to be some kind of "over-powered" plugin for this which doesn't exist any more, at least the domain pvr-scheduler.de now belongs to a domain grabber...

Is there anything else I can do? Many thanks in advance!

I have this same question. In my installation of MP2, on the menu Home * Manage Schedules the only option is Manage Series Schedules; I don't see an option to create a new schedule for recording. I recently installed MP2 on a machine running Windows 10.

I agree, that a manual schedule makes sense. Oftentimes EPG data are not free of charge, so it's wrong to assume, that everybody uses EPG to schedule recordings.

Maybe nobody has ever submitted a feature request for this, and explained the use-case? I have posted one here https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/schedule-tv-recordings-by-time.135430/ describing my reasons for wanting the feature, adding other justifications could only help.
