Record while MP is closed? (1 Viewer)

I seem to be getting some weird activity while MP starts up with windows and runs in the background. Is there no way to set a show to record then close MP and still have it record the show? I know programs like GBPVR have things that kind of let you do this. I think the recording engine is on but the program is closed.

Is the TVEngine the thing that does this or no?

you would need to the new beta tvengine to do that.

or alternatively minimize MP to the taskbard - will record and it's still running.
