Hi All,
I've had the following problem for some time (since RC2 I think), but have been passively hoping it would get fixed (I know - not really in the spirit of Open Source:-()).
When I record TV, sometimes (not every time, and not any specific channel(s)) one of three things occur when I try and play the recorded TV file:
a) It works fine (I like this result!!)
b) It works fine, EXCEPT there is no sound.
c) The video and sound stutters and jumps.
Occasionally, and particularly in scenario c) above, fast forwarding doesn't follow the displayed timeline. (Meaning that I can fast forward 5 minutes and press play, and I''m only 3 or 4 minutes before where I expected to be.)
Attached are some log file hopefully covering all three of the above scenarios.
I've also noted that the disc that contains my recorded TV files is heavily fragmented, and defrag reports that the files cannot be defragmented. Not sure if this is a contributing factor, but it's a possible concern.
Thanks for your help folks. MediaPortal is a great product and a tribute to the community that work so hard on it.
Cheers
...Steve
