Recorded tv shows (1 Viewer)

This is my first post so be gentle, I have the latest media portal running and it works a treat, the only prob i have, which is bugging me is all of my previously recorded tv shows are showing in the movies folder. Is there a way to move them to another folder? I thought there might have been a default folder for recorded tv so that i could just copy them over. Also im not using mp for watching tv if this is significant.

MP config Television\recordings "add tv recordings to movies database" untick this option.

Ahh i see, so if i untick this option it'll give me another folder for recorded shows?

Think i've lost the plot here, are you saying that "physically" your files are in the movies folder, above only puts them in the database.

You need to select the folder you want access too by default, under each of Movie\Music\Picture tabs, if you then want a particular foder to be the default one opened when you go into video's for example, tick the box next to it as in below picture

Usually MP loads your default folders, ie documents\music etc, but you can edit these locations in the relevant folder config.

Ok, what i would like if possible, is to have my previously recorded tv shows under the (my tv) option on the main mp screen, at the moment, because i couldnt find anywhere else to put them, i put them into my movies folder.
