Recording 8 channels simultaneosly (1 Viewer)

Hi guys i am new to this portal .I have gone through some of the earlier posts but could not understant the terminology can any one explain it in more simpler way.

give me a good solution for viewing 8 Different channels simultaneously on my T.V(L.E.D 32").

I have at my home in India "Airtel Digital TV" which is a service provider.I am providing the link below please see

I need to see these channels and record it aswell. Please do give a step by step method.

Given that you have enough tuners, MediaPortal can record 8 channels at once, or if you have 8 separate HTPC's in your house then all 8 can watch separate channels.

But you can not view 8 channels on ONE screen. With MP1 you can only view the one channel your HTPC tuned to. MP2 already supports PiP, but IIRC not for LiveTV (yet) - and only for 2 streams.

lol, how can you even fit 8channels on a 32inch screen? it's this for security monitoring ?
