Recording all channels (1 Viewer)

Hi there, I live in New Zealand and freeview here is broadcast over DVB-S off just two transponders on the satellite. I've seen people saying that it's therefore possible with a single dual tuner card to record all channels simultaneously. However no one says exactly how to do it.

Can someone shed some light on this please?

Hi madad!
Yes, if u are using TV-server (TV3) u should be able to do so. TV-server can "extract" all channels from one transponder per TV-card.

Just make sure you assign channels to both cards, then when you hit record on a channel while another is already recording, it'll sort it out itself.
