I am trying IPTV again, want to get away from cable.
I using a 3 streams at the same time service, 99% of the steams tune fine.
When recording back to back shows from the same stream it won't preform like the cable card.
1st recording is fine the 2nd is late because of (I guessing) the post time from the 1st recording.
I have pre and post time for each recording.
I know that the cable card has multi stream or sub-channels.
Is there a way to make IPTV streams act like a cable card?
using MP1

Thanks,
Cam

I see you get a 401 (unauthorized). are you sure you're using the same url as in vlc?
Also I don't know if the mpurlsourcesplitter plays well wit ipv6, perhaps disabling that in windows is worth a shot?

    Thanks for the response!!
I turned off the ipv6 and restarted the computer, I copied the link for a channel, pasted into vlc it played fine, then pasted into playlist for MP did a scan 2 or 3 times it failed, then tried vlc again and it failed, next team viewer for my work computer pasted in vlc and it played....?????

Maybe my isp is blocking, do you think? Would the logs show that?

    Thanks

    still the 401. (in tvserver.mpurlsourcesplitter.log)
So ipv6 isn't the problem. I do see some cloudflare related stuff in it, perhaps that's the issue?
Don't know yet on how to best pintpoint the problem, have to think about it for a while...

Hm, not many ideas have popped up.
Are you able to sniff the traffic with f.e. fiddler ? Then you should be able to detect what tvservice is doing wrong.
Or is that getting too technical?

Never done it before, can do it but not sure what to do with the results, soooooo...... too technical.

I did do a test with my phone and the IPTV app, using home wifi (home ISP provider) I could not connect to the server, then switched over to my phone data and it connected played perfectly. Seems to be ISP blocking. What do you think?

you can send me the results so I can analyze it if you want...
ISP blocking seems unlikely to me, why would it work with vlc then?

Hm, how did you capture it? with fiddler?
Sorry to not have said before, but for me the easiest way to interpret is if you save all sessions into an fiddler-archive (saz)
Don't quite understand the part about MP Tvserver computer vs MP TVserver

Also note: don't know if anything sensitive is going to be captured, safest bet is to pm me the files
