[QUOTE="ktriebol, post: 1135928, member: 84809"] I am new to MediaPortal but seem to have it up and running well on my Windows 8.1 HTPC. I had been running Windows Media Center previously, but the word I have heard is that WMC will go away with Windows 10, so I found MP while looking for a replacement. MP seems to meet my needs nicely. Now for my question: When using WMC, a red circle would appear in the Windows notification area while a program was being recorded. This was a helpful feature. I have searched MP to see if something like this can be activated, but came up empty handed. Maybe I missed it. Is there a way to activate an icon for recordings in the Windows notification area?
