Edit: I guess I'm having overall frustration with anything to do with recording. When ever MP tries to do anything with starting, stoping, setting, configuring a recording it either freezes for a few seconds to a few minutes or locks up the PC so bad that I have to power off and restart. I have more than enough power in the PC to handle this and all other areas of MP work fine. The problem only lies with the recording feature.
Right now I only have one STB setup so I either record what I'm watching or it records somthing in the middle of the night. Could the fact that I have live TV going through the capture card while I'm selecting recordings in the guide causing the issue?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
