When the new recording engine is in place, I would like to see recording qualities implemented and working. The current version of mediaportal has recording qualities implemented but don't work for my Wintv PVR USB2. It would be nice if we would be able to record and slect recording profiles such as VCD, SVCD, DVD standard, DVD Long Play, DVD Extended Play, etc providing that the tv card has on board hardware mpeg 1/2 encoding.
