Hi All,

Occasionally I have recordings which stop ..... and they always happen on my wifes shows ... so tonight I'm in the dogbox .... again - DOH!!!

They happen where on the same channel I have recorded another show which runs over the top of the one I'm recording due to the pre / post start / finish times.

For example the one prior ran 3 minutes after the EPG end time and the next one (the one that stopped) started 1 minute prior to the EPG start time. The recording of the one in question finished after 3 minutes (3:34 to be exact) This time is around the time of the post record settings on the previous recording.

I have searched the forums but found nothing on this.

Is it a known bug? Does anyone else have the same issue? If so, does anyone else also have a grumpy wife?? .... thank goodness for TVNZ On Demand where she can watch her show on the internet :D

Any help appreciated.

Regards

Graham

Hi, i see you use the old mp build 1.0.2.
I sugest you upgrade to the lastest RC3.
I have a lot of schedules running around 20.00 hours. They all start and stop fine.

    Greetings,

    Wouter

The only reason I have not moved to RC3 is because it's not a "stable" release and everything else works fine with 1.0.2. This issue happens once in a while .. but as mentioned, it's always on the wife's shows - doh!!

Is RC3 regarded as stable?? or is it more for bug tracking by users and reporting back?? I'm just concerned it may have more errors based of fixes from RC2 ... but I guess it's no different to the stables releases?

    Thoughts??

RC3 is a release candidate, so it is not regarded as a stable product.

But it should be good enough to test your problems with.
