Recording streaming online video (1 Viewer)

There is an online workshop coming up in the next few days which I would like to record. Can MP handle this, or would I need to download a different application? I can record streaming audio with Audacity without too much difficulty, but I've never tried recording streaming video before. Sorry if I have this inquiry in the wrong area.

If MediaPortal can receive the stream (either via TV Server or the OnlineVideos plugin), it usually follows that MediaPortal would be able to record or download the stream. Unfortunately I'm unable to say whether MP is able to receive the particular stream you're referring to. You simply haven't provided enough detail about the stream for anybody to to be able to say that.
