Go to post #19, and download the files.. That solution works pretty good

but in the downloadfile is thumb_creating.patch.

EvilGroby,

That file is only used when you build/compile your own Mediaportal application from the source code/files.

Most people will not use it. Simply use the already compiled/built files that powermarcel10 has suggested.

thanks a lot. work great !
is it correct that the thumbs have no rows/columns?
normaly i have 1 column and 2 rows (config).
now there is only one big pic.

one more question:
it seems that this solution only generates a thumb of the first picture of the file.
if i record a movie, the recording begin 5 minutes before and so i have everytime a thumbnail with the show before.
is it possible that this solution can create a thumbnail of the middle of the recording ?

i hope you know what i mean ;-)

has the solution been integrated into MP 1.2.2?

I am using MP 1.2.2 and TV Server on Win 7 (64bits). I still have some issues generating thumbnails for recroded TV.
In Mediaportal.log :

Do you have a version of your DLL for MP 1.2.0 as thats the version I'm using. Can't upgrade at the mo as I'm pretty well customized!
