Hi,

I just did a test with four tuners to record to a shared drive.
This all worked flawless, even while timeshifting one of the programs.

Setup
HTPC = AMD Atlon64 3000 socked 939 on Asus Motherboard
VideoCard : MSI 6600LE with 256 Mbyte Mem (passive Cooled)
Ethernet: The HTPC and Server are connected through 2 Switches (100 Mbit) (So not ideal)
One Hauppauge PVR 500 MCE (2 TUNERS)
One NVTV
One Hauppauge Nova S CI (CI not used or workable)

All recordings where set to High Quality (8000-12000 VBR)
Timeshifting was done by using the Nvidia Pure Video MPEG Decoder.

WHat to do
Set one shared drive on the server
Set mapping from the HTPC to this shared drive ( Z: )
Set for each Card the folder to record to Z:\

Set in MP 4 scheduled recordings and it will record to this shared folder.
Select one of the recordings and tell MP to play from start

It all works quite well.

Success
Ben
