However, in <em>Home Cinema </em>I could schedule a future TV recording, then shut the application down and forget about it. When the recording time arrived an icon appeared in the system tray indicating the recording was </p><p>taking place and the programme would be recorded as required. In <em>Media Portal </em> however I seem to be unable to close the application once a recording has been scheduled and as it runs full screen I can no longer use the PC.
