Recording UK DVB-T Radio (1 Viewer)

I thought I was missing something obvious, but a search thru the archives tells me that as of a couple of months ago radio (DVBT, Freeview in the UK) can't be recorded using MP.
Are there any plans to enable this in the near future?
and
if not, is there a workaround to force the radio stations to appear under the TV section?
