Sorry, I am confused. Can this be used to download online videos? i use realplayer,but looking for an alternative. Realplayer only works in internet explorer. Realplayer says it will work with Chrome,but when watching a video, Realplayer says there is no video on that page, therefore, it cannot download it. thanks

I think the included OnlineVideos plugin allows saving of streams. Not sure if it is supported by all sites.

@offbyone can you comment on this, please?

It's possible for all sites in MP2 where you can play a video - you can also download it. (OV for MP2 does not support Browser Player Sites like netflix yet- there you can't download).
