Thanks for all the quick replies, appreciated. I have an ATI AIW x800XL, and I'm using analogue cable with no HDTV. Those programs seem pretty good, I just went on VideoHelp.com and found this guide. It's kind of late so I'm going to try this tomorrow and see how much space I can save with it. Thanks for the mention of the "My Burner" plugin, I'll take a look at RC2 after trying out the manual conversion tomorrow. Last time I tried RC2 I couldn't get the TV to work, but maybe it'll work this time. edit: I just followed the guide using DVRMSToolbox and VirtualDub and I went from a 3 GB, 45 minute DVR-MS to a 300 MB, 45 minute AVI. I'm really happy with that now. Albeit I'll still need the high amount of disk space for initial recording, a couple clicks and it's compressed a lot :). Going to try that "My Burner" plugin later, see how that is and weight out my options. Thanks everyone.
