I cannot record in mpeg (known prob I believe) so have to record in .ts which works well, however, it leaves me with huge files (i.e 14gb for HD movie) I have tried to re encode these files to other formats in order to compress them down to say 4gb but always end up with sync issues. What are my options? is there a plugin or a way to record to another format? or can anyone point me in the direction of an idiot proof way to convert these files. I have read in some posts that dvr-ms is an option but I though that was MCE file format. Any help would be appreciated.</p><p></p><p>2. I have posted this in another thread but thought I would post here as it has more traffic. ITVHD is launching today here in the uk and is showing Euro2008 match tonight. It is possible to view this channel through other dvbs apps but not MP as it is a slightly different video stream.
