recover a recording from .SBE files ? (1 Viewer)

very disappointingly today MP messed up a recording, if I go, inside MP, under "Recorded TV" the recording is there and watchable, but what I need to do with it is to edit and save it to make a DVD, as I always did..., so instead of a big dvr-ms files there's a tiny little one, 25kb..., and a lot of .SBE files, one written every 5 mins.
Normally I use Videoredo to cut/edit, but if I try to open that tiny little dvr-ms, it says something like "cannot open elementary streams".
So now I have something I can watch, but that I can't save...

I've tried to copy and rename one of those files, but Videoredo after a couple of seconds, initially seems all ok, crashes saying something like "dimension has changed.."

so is there a way to recover those .SBE files ?

Does the file exist in TV recordings, if so you may be able to use the compress facility and end up with a mpeg file.

BTW I managed to join 30 or more of those files with Videoredo, and then do the editing...
