Some news.

The following features will be "removed" from my custom build (after the 1.8 Pre-Release is published) because they are official supported since MP 1.8 Pre-Release:

• Return to home after resume
  
• PING monitor feature
• Create folder.jpg from context menu using the existing movie thumbnails.
• Ability to use different Allowed Standby Hours in weekend.

The Include timeshift buffer in recordings feature will be removed from my custom build because it is supported by TsBufferExtractor plugin.

Attention!

We will offer to upgrade MySql database in the MP 1.8 final. This upgrade won't be offered to any users who has installed once my custom build. The upgrade can be made by manually of course.

I am already running 5.6.10 - is it recommended to upgrade to newest MySQL?

I said upgrade the database (alter tables) from MyISAM to InnoDB.

I'm running your 1.8 so far and don't want to update to 1.9pre as you haven't released your test version for 1.9pre. ;-)
