Hey Lads,
I used MediaPortal for a few months.. still very pleased BUT. i recently bought a new data pc and on that pc i have all my music, pics and movies. the reason i did this because I saw at my MPconfig that i can reffer to an FTP.
SO installed bulletproof ftp server configurated it.. turned on my HTPC and checked it with a commen client Filezilla.. worked great. Saw my account on Bulletproof that i logged in! BUT. when i start op my MP @ HTPC. and go to my pics/music.. i am able to SEE my files of the datapc, but i can't "play" my music it only says if i want to download it to my local PC. so the use of the datapc is actually gone. (btw it won't download and @ bulletproof i am not logged in
(weird because with filezilla i actually CAN log in and download)). is there somebody who did the same is I did and had the same problem or does anybody know what i could do
