Remote not working in Video (1 Viewer)

I try to play any VideoDVD but the Remote does not work. Select 'Video' in MP and the the Video/DVD starts until Mainmenu. Then i can't select anything.
I can't attach my LOG because it is 20 MB and the MaxFileSize is 19MB.

Are you trying to create logs in debug mode? If so and they are still 20MB can you delete all the logs manually and then try and gather logs.

i have my specs updated. It's MP 1.1 Final. I deleted all old LOG's but they are still 20MB.

What sort of remote are you using, and did you configure it in MediaPortal configuration?

It is the TV logs which are the bigs ones that would help being deleted. Indeed being that size might indicate a problem so might be worth having a scan through to see why they are so big.

Not related to your issue but something outstanding is

I am assuming you have run Windows Update at some point? If so we could do with your help to find out why we are not picking this up. If possible could you export your registry (open regedit as administrator and select export from the computer node then zip it up using something like 7Zip so you can password protect it and then PM me the password?)

I never ran Windows Update. So i did it yesterday. The Remoteproblem exists onward and i split the new Log. Do you still need the registryexport?

I use a Harmony with the scheme for Microsoft MCE. In MP it is defined as MCE.

When you first start MP, your remote works fine? Then after playing a DVD it does not?

What about other usage? Can you use your remote for TV, music, weather, etc? Does it work for playing/pausing video files?

Yes all other funktions work fine. Even when i play a Video from Harddisk or DVD. The Video starts until the Mainmenu. Here i can choose Play, Options etc.
From here i can't use the Remote. Nothing works. I have to stop MP with the WindowsManager.

Btw. Video means DVD original or DVDrip on Harddisk. Not Video like AVI, MPG etc.

Im having the same issue. Windows 7 32Bit with all updates using the Medion RF remote. Everything works fine until i start watching a film. Can use remote to start film but after that its useless. I cant do anything with it once the film has started but i do hear media portal clicking sounds when i try and stop the video. Its almost as if media portal has focus for keyboard/mouse/remote but not for screen display. The film continues to play and media portal continues to run in the background.
