Remote problems - Very slow (1 Viewer)

I'm using girder v 3.3 to control my apps. When i run a program via "MyPrograms" in Media Portal, and close the program with my remote, once media portal is back, it responds very slow to my remote. I click a button, it takes like 5 seconds to respond. Also when i close media i get this error "HcwHelper has encounterd a problem and needs to close..." Any suggestions?

Ok i kinda fixed it. What i did was when closing the program, i would also close hcwhelper and then reopen it. It worked, but any reason why it happened in the first place?
