remote setup (1 Viewer)

I have a black Hauppauge remote (TSHA-IR01) which works partially:

o volume + & -
o 4 direction buttons
o OK button
o clear button (go to previous screen)

and that's about it. How do I go about implementing more buttons (pause & stop would be nice) ?

Hi MPEnviron, which remote have you selected in the MP configuration utility and have you already tried another one?
I have a different remote and don't have any experience with the one you have but I would think that you have to go for the Microsoft MCE - unless you already did this?

P2- I selected Hauppauge but also tried MCE with no change.

Did you install it so that it also functions outside MP and that application takes over?

P2: No, I assumed that such a feature was a Media Center thing whereas I'm just running XP. How would I implement that?
