The fix auto extracts the files in c:\92834o584 or a similar directory.</p><p>3) Copy the folder from c:\ to your desktop (if necessary unlock files with unlocker: <a href="http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/" target="_blank">UNLOCKER 1.8.7 BY CEDRICK 'NITCH' COLLOMB</a>)</p><p>4) Now install the driver manually for "snowflakeemulation", search it in "Desktop\92834o584\SP2QFE\ip. </p><p>5) From driver list select "Microsoft" vendor and search "eHome infrared receiver"</p><p>6) Download and install <a href="http://www.byremote.com.au/" target="_blank">HIP : ByRemote</a></p><p>7) Configure HIP to use MCD Remote, then configure your program to use.</p><p></p><p>Now your Remote is working.</p><p>Though it isn't relavant here, this also fixes MCE 2005 'snowflakeemulation' remote problems.</p><p></p><p></p><p>More to follow when I have messed with it a while.</p></blockquote><p></p>
