Removing Welcome screen AFTER login.... (1 Viewer)

i've searched tons of websites concerning removing that annoying light blue WELCOME screen that comes AFTER the initial login screen (which i've disabled)...most solutions i've found concern removing the login screen (done that)...the only way i can find to remove the SECOND screen (welcome) is the turn off Welcome in user accounts (unfortunately that actives the generic login screen).

Besides Minlogon which i've read about, is there any registry setting (tried the DISABLETASKMESSAGES one) or tweak that i can use to remove or at least change the Welcome screen (the one that appears right before the desktop, just to clarify). Would also be nice to remove the blue screen that appears when you're restarting, though that one isn't as annoying.

Hmm i´ve got a german Tut how to set p Windows.

Software-Tuts - HTPC-News Wiki

I try to translate :)

First deactivate your Welcome Screen in the user control manager.

You have to start regedit. Then go to KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\

There you need three Strings.
1. AutoAdminLogon - Value "1" (with ")
2. DefaultUserName - "<your login>" (with ")
3. DefaultPassword - <your pasword> (without ")

Autologon is also possible under Vista:

Click on Start, type the following command in the search box, and then hit the Enter key.

    netplwiz

This command will load the Advanced User Accounts control panel.

In the Users tab, uncheck the box next to Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer.

Click on the Apply button at the bottom of the User Accounts window.

When the Automatically Log On dialog box appears, enter your password in the two fields where it's asked and then click OK.
