Hi all,
I've been using MediaPortal for about 2 years now. In that time, whenever I added music to my share, I would close my MP client, open the MP config tool and refresh the database to have it see the new music in my preferred view. Pain in the butt, really.
It was only recently that I decided to try clicking the ominous-sounding "Reorganize Music Database" button in the Music settings *within* the MP client itself. Of course, it does the same thing. But I never tried it before because "Reorganize" to me is the improper word. It sounds like it's going to start moving files and renaming them or something.
Perhaps a small text string change to "Refresh Music Database" may prevent confusion for others. Not sure.
Anyway, I'm happy I found that button
Cheers.
Geoff
