Well hello people :)

Since this is my first post here ill throw a few words of introduction:

Im running MP on my primary gaming PC (7600gt geforce 3500+64 cpu and 2 gigs of ram) BUT now im looking for a way to KEEP my games whils my wife records, vievs, streams and generally makes a pain of herself ;-)

I have a heap of old hardware and i was thinking about making a dedicated HTPC with these bits

1800+ xp cpu
1024 ram
some sort of HDD (another thread maybe)
Hauppage 150 pvr
and this is my clinch

gfx Geforce ti4200 !!!

is that "good" enough for my use (recording tv, playing MP3´s, playing DVD´s etc)

Or should i go for a faster card (does it really matter??) or??

Thanks in advance :D

I know it is a good card, but is not DX9, you could try it and if no joy then pick up any AGP Nvidia 5200 128mb or ATI equivalent or higher, must be giving them away by now. :D

They will not play HD movies, but your 7600 will.
