Request: Cover Art and Back Cover shown at the same time - is it possible? (1 Viewer)

Hey all,

first of all, thanks for your work. This is really a fantastic plug-in to enhance the MP experience.

Now to my question. I would really love to have a view that has the following features:

- Filmstrip at the bottom

- Upper two thirds of the screen only front and back cover of the selected movie

How can this be done? Moving pictures development, building a skin or creating a new view for media portal? Please let me know in what direction I need to gather some knowledge. I am willing to try the challenge at least, because I would really like this view.

This would be really tricky because Moving Pictures only maintains one "active" cover for the selected movie. Paths to all covers are passed to the skin though so you might be able to get away with something like this:

Path to main cover: #MovingPictures.Coverart
Path to an alternate cover (your back cover): #MovingPictures.SelectedMovie.extra.alternatecovers.2

The problem is that the back cover would not benefit from our asynchronous loading logic so it could cause the plug-in to preform a little sluggishly. You would also have to manually add all your back covers...
