At the moment MediaPortal is limited to supporting sources that can also be used in Windows MCE. With the new engine MP isn't dependant on the Microsoft recording engine, so it can be extended to include IPTV streams, software based cards, poth parts of combined analogue and digital cards, etc. Basically, from what I can tell, any TV or radio source should be possible eventually, as long as someone writes the server module for it.</p></blockquote><p></p>
