Germany not working

hello,

i loved this tool in the past, but since modifying the MSN source site of germany, the information download is not working anymore.

Because i´m not very firm in visualbasic, maybe someone can modify mtsa.exe for germany.

many thanks

I tried some older versions of showtimes / MTSA but found that occasionally it would go bonkers and start chewing internet bandwidth.
Since I'm on a capped service this actually cost be close to 20UKP last time it happened (didn't notice for a week!).
Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I'd love to try the new version as I did really like it, but I'm sure you can understand that I'm a little nervous....

Hard one, as currently have 1gb of files that have been downloaded by myshowtimes, so yes for someone on a limited download service could be expensive for watching a few minutes of video.

Not sure what the filesize would be if using a lower resolution trailer, as mine are set at 720HD

Why don't you try the stream functionality (even in low quality of course)?

It only grab the link of the trailers, so you can see (and pay for) what you want to see...

Just to be clear - when I used this last, it wasn't the total downloads for the movies/posters that concerned me. It was that occasionally the process seemed to go bonkers and get stuck repeatedly downloading one or more blocks of data - it wouldn't timeout, and just kept consuming bandwidth at 10sK/sec - and if left for a week that would mount up.

I took a look at the streaming option - installed the RC1 build from earlier in this thread, then updated the mtsa binary.

Installed the plugins in plugins/windows and plugins/process (GUI and grabber respectively).
Configured it with locations and tried to download.
It seems to run but doesn't get any data - the moviedata remains empty ??
The logs show it grabbing theatre info - but then aborts each stage after that.

Also, where should I put the strings_en.xml ?
