I am running 1.0.0.0 RC1 in a single seat configuration. I have been having issues getting my hauppauge remote to work after hibernation (browsing these forums this seems to be a common issue). The only way to get it to work reliably seems to be to restart MediaPortal after resume. This is a bit of a pain because of the time taken for MP to restart, but not the end of the world. - however it does not always work. I am using Powerscheduler client in MP and Powerscheduler in TV Server. I have set TVServer to reinitialize on restart, and have set MP to 'Restart MediaPortal on resume (avoids stuttering playback with nvidia)' This works fine if I manually initiate a hibernate from the home screen, but if I let the HTPC hibernate on its own (due to timeout on home screen or post scheduled recording), when I restart the PC it goes straight into MP and does not restart it, and consequently the remote does not work. Can anyone help? Thanks Chris edit: I have now changed to the latest SVN (mediaportal-svn-07-04-2008--12-31-Rev19574.rar) and generated log files (attached). I am assuming the relevant part (mediaportal.log in automatic (unattended) hibernate) is the third line here: 2008-07-08 08:48:50.796875 [Info.][MPMain]: Main: Windows has resumed from [B]critical[/B] hibernate mode 2008-07-08 08:48:50.828125 [Debug][MPMain]: Main: OnResume - set lock for syncronous inits 2008-07-08 08:48:50.828125 [Info.][MPMain]: Main: OnResume - OnResume called but !_suspended Whereas for a manually forced hibernate it is: 2008-07-08 09:03:34.921875 [Info.][MPMain]: Main: Windows has resumed from hibernate mode 2008-07-08 09:03:34.968750 [Debug][MPMain]: Main: OnResume - set lock for syncronous inits 2008-07-08 09:03:34.968750 [Info.][MPMain]: Main: OnResume - Trying to wake up the monitor / tv 2008-07-08 09:03:34.968750 [Info.][MPMain]: Main: OnResume - prepare for restart! 2008-07-08 09:03:34.968750 [Debug][MPMain]: Main: OnResume - executing script D:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\restart.vbs I don't know why the automatic hibernate is a 'critical' hibernate?
