Hi,
DVBViewer supports such an option ("retune channel after Xs on signal lost"). This can be sometimes useful if:
- signal got lost and doesn't come back (to whatever reason, buggy LNB, buggy multiswitch, buggy card drivers)
- connections to CI got lost and the channel isn't decrypted anymore
I would also like to implement this by myself and provide a patch but sadly i don't now where to start checking if we have an unscrambled / fine signal or not while recording or timeshifting.
Perhaps a DEV can give some hints where to start and if it is possible to simply send a retune request without starting a new .ts file.
Greets
