Just wondering what your guys views are on being able to return PC components as faulty when they cannot work as intended due to bad drivers? I recently built a new HTPC and decided to go for Intel board and Haswell chip but this has proved to be a nightmare, I'm having no end of issues which all stem from poor Intel drivers and support. I therefore want to return the Processor and board and instead buy another AMD setup. I know the hardware itself (the board and chip) are not faulty but the drivers are required to make the hardware work so imo, if the drivers aren't up to muster then my view is that hardware is faulty. I'm going to call up the place of purchase tomorrow and see where I stand on returns based on the above but just wondering whether any of you are in agreement. If they say I cannot return them then I may have an Intel haswell and motherboard up for sale shortly (perfect working order of course :) )
